A Guide for Instructors

This reconceived guide draws on new scholarship and contemporary approaches (cultural studies, colonial/postcolonial, and psychoanalytic, among others) to provide practical suggestions for organizing thematic and genre-based courses. Reorganized for easier reference, the guide's author/work entries include an introductory teaching hook, a Quick Read section, teaching suggestions, and discussion questions and project and research ideas for students. Teaching links between the Anthology and Feminist Literary Theory and Criticism: A Norton Reader are highlighted throughout. A selected bibliography completes the Guide.
